Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva offers condolences on loss of life in Barcelona

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva expressed condolences on the victims of the terrorist attack in Barcelona in a cable to her Spanish counterpart Alfonso María Dastis Quecedo.
“I was deeply saddened by the news about the attack in Barcelona which resulted in loss of human life and numerous casualties.
We are shocked by this manifestation of cruelty and aggression, and we believe that the culprits behind this act of violence will be held responsible.
At this harrowing moment that shook the whole world, I express my most sincere friendly and human empathy with the grief of the bereaved, and solidarity and support for the Spanish people,” the cable reads.
