Ministry of Foreign Affairs confers awards on Bulgarian teachers abroad
25 November 2011 NewsThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs has awarded a golden badge of honour to Mrs Snezhina Mecheva, Director of the Bulgarian School at the Embassy in London, and an honorary diploma to Mrs Milena Vezenkovo, director of the Vasil Levski School in the municipality of Barking.
In a letter, Mrs. Mecheva thanked Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov for the award and said that the awards represented recognition for all Bulgarian schools abroad.
Both educators were awarded for their contributions to Bulgarian education abroad and to the preservation and promotion of Bulgarian language and culture.
