Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria expresses deep concern over today’s sentence of a Russian court against Estonian national Eston Kohver, kidnapped by the Russian special services and held illegally in a Russian custody for almost one year, in violation of international law.
Bulgaria expresses solidarity with its ally Estonia and once again calls on the Russian Federation to observe its international obligations, to release immediately Mr Kohver and to guarantee his safe return to his home country.
