International Forum "Black Sea 2030: Partnership for Sustainable Development", held under the auspices of the Bulgarian Chairmanship of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation

On October 24, 2025, the International Forum "Black Sea 2030: Partnership for Sustainable Development" took place in the city of Burgas. The event was organized by the Municipality of Burgas under the auspices of the Bulgarian Chairmanship of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
The event aimed to promote the leading role of Bulgaria in the processes of sustainable development of the wider Black Sea region.
Within the framework of the Forum was presented the exhibition "The Sea Brings Everything Together", featuring old maps of the Black Sea, organized by the Diplomatic Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,.
At the opening of the forum, a welcoming speech on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria was delivered by Mr. Ivaylo Iordanov, Head of the Regional Cooperation Department, South-East Europe Directorate, who expressed the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the efforts to deepen the dialogue and partnership in the wider Black Sea region.
As a guest speaker, in the second panel of the forum “Maritime Business – Partner and Driver for a Sustainable Future”, participated Ms. Rositsa Stoeva, National Coordinator of BSEC. Ms. Stoeva emphasized the importance of regional cooperation, the project activities of BSEC and the Organization’s contribution to sustainable growth in the Black Sea region.
