Nickolay Mladenov and Edmond Haxhinasto honored together, the victims of the terrorist attacks in Norway.

Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov and Albanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinasto, who is on official visit to Sofia, visited together the Embassy of Norway to honour the victims of the sanguinary attacks in Oslo and the island of Utoeya. In the condolence book, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister wrote: "Radicalism and terrorism are not confined to one religion or region. At this moment, we suffer together with the Norwegian people. " On his part Edmond Haxhinasto wrote:" We are together with the Norwegian people and government. We share common values ​​of tolerance and multiculturalism."

 Edmond Haxhinasto is on official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart. Nickolay Mladenov thanked for the personal support of the Albanian Foreign Minister for solving the issue with the status of the Bulgarian Cultural Centre in Tirana. "We are about to finalize several agreements in the fields of economy and science, which will contribute to strengthening the dialogue and cooperation between Bulgaria and Albania - two countries with traditionally good relations, with no open political issues," pointed out Minister Mladenov.

As for the Balkans, common is the assessment that regional cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, energy, defense and security, fight against organized crime is essential.

 "We have already made ​​a qualitative step towards a closer cooperation in all areas, including further cooperation in NATO, as well as in the Mediterranean and the Middle East", said the Albanian guest.
