Ambassador Petko Doykov presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of India

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Delhi Petko Doykov presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The ceremony took place on 10 June in Ashoka Hall of the Presidential Palace Rashtrapati.
In the following meeting, which was also attended by officials of the Bulgarian Embassy in Delhi and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, they discussed the state of bilateral dialogue and the prospects for its further development. They pointed out that on 22 December this year we mark the 60th anniversary ofthe establishment of diplomatic relations and in this context expressed satisfaction with the achievements during this period in all fields of cooperation.
The participants underlined the need to strengthen the trade and economic contacts between the two countries in order to increase investment and trade flows between them, to which the exchange of official visits will have a particular contribution.
