The Republic of Bulgaria places the highest importance on regional cooperation in South Eastern Europe which it sees as key instrument for strengthening security and stability in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses regret that the meeting of the Heads of State and Government of the countries participating in the South East Europe Cooperation Process has been cancelled. At the same time, we hope that the meeting of the foreign ministers of the SEECP will be successful. Bulgaria consistently has supported the principle of full inclusiveness in regional cooperation that includes all the countries of South Eastern Europe.
