A Memorandum of Cooperation between the diplomatic institutes of Bulgaria and Ghana was signed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and the newly established Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. At an official ceremony, the document was signed by the Director of the Institute, Tanya Mihailova, and the Coordinating Director of the Ghanaian Institute, Ambassador Akua Aenkora.
The visit is the result of the efforts of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Nigeria, Yanko Yordanov, for cooperation in the field of training of diplomatic personnel between Bulgaria and West African countries. The Diplomatic Institute of Bulgaria will be the first international partner of the Ghanaian institute, which intends to build its training methodology and programmes on the Bulgarian model.
The delegation held a meeting with the Director General of Bilateral Relations, Petar Kraytchev, who stressed that the signing of the cooperation document between the two institutes is a positive development in the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Ghana and expressed hope for the further intensification of the dialogue in all areas of mutual interest.
