The Ministry of Foreign Affairs donated two sets of educational puppet theater to the Cultural Center in Tsaribrod on the occasion of May 24th

On May 24 - Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature, a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited Tsaribrod, Serbia and took part in the celebrations of the Bulgarian national minority. In connection with the patron saint's day of the school, students from the high school "St. St. Cyril and Methodius ”presented the program“ Our Bulgarian Sacred Word ”. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and teachers from schools in the city also attended a master class in puppetry, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Danka Shtereva, lecturer at the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts at Sofia University "St. Cl. Ohrid".

On the occasion of the holiday, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska, two sets of educational puppet theater were donated to the theater group at the Cultural House of Tsaribrod. The aim is for children with Bulgarian self-awareness from preschool and primary school age to have the opportunity to touch the atmosphere of dramatic puppetry in their native language. The educational puppet theater provides an alternative way to learn and consolidate the Bulgarian literary language and to establish ethnocultural identity.

During the visit, the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also met with the Caribrod Municipal Council Chairman Zoran Djurov and with the Mayor of Caribrod Vladitsa Dimitrov. The Bulgarian delegation also visited the City Library, where he talked to educational and cultural figures from the city.
