Bulgaria will provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine

20 November 2014 News

The government will allocate 50,000 euro in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The funds are provided from the resources planned in the central government budget for official development aid, and are intended to mitigate the serious socio-economic and humanitarian
situation in the country. They will be provided through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The inclusion of Bulgaria is an affirmation of the consistent policy of our country and the solidarity with the suffering of the Ukrainian people. This step is an expression of our commitment to the common efforts of the EU and the international community to support Ukraine.
