Ambassador Valeri Yotov presented his credentials to the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil

The official ceremony took place on 10 November at the Presidential Palace "Planalto" in the presence of journalists from local media.
President Dilma Rousseff said that she is glad to accept the credentials of the Ambassador of Bulgaria, that she recalls with satisfaction her visit to Bulgaria and hopes to visit our country again, but expects first a visit of the President of Bulgaria in Brazil.
During the conversation after the ceremony, Ambassador Yotov expressed satisfaction with the state of the bilateral dialogue and the partnership and friendship relations built over the past 80 years of diplomatic relations between our two countries. He expressed his belief in their further development in all fields of mutual interest.
The Bulgarian Ambassador congratulated Dilma Rousseff on her re-elections and wished her health and success, as well as prosperity to the people of Brazil, on behalf of President Rosen Plevneliev and Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
The ceremony was attended by Luiz Alberto Figueiredo Machado, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Marco Aurelio, foreign policy adviser to the President, directors of "Ceremonial" and "Europe" directorates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.
