Minister Mitov held talks with newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Austria

Bulgaria and Austria have excellent bilateral relations and share similar positions on many issues on the European and the international agenda, agreed Minister Daniel Mitov and the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Sofia Roland Hauser.
Coming to Bulgaria, I discovered with pleasure the strong Austrian presence in history, architecture, culture, which clearly shows the traditionally close ties between the two countries, said Ambassador Hauser. I will do everything possible to continue to develop and work actively for the implementation of new projects, he said.
For his part, Minister Mitov said that the good relations are a stable basis for future collaboration in various fields of mutual interest both bilaterally and in the field of European and regional cooperation. The Western Balkans and their EU integration is just one of the many common foreign policy interests of Bulgaria and Austria, he added.
