Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel: Social entrepreneurs contribute to fairer economies and societies

Today, under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Gabriel, the closing ceremony of the social entrepreneurship project "Replication Challenge: Training for Changemakers".
The event was organized by the Embassy of France in Bulgaria, the French Institute, Startup Factory Association and Snowball Effect.
During the ceremony, the participants in the Replication Challenge project were awarded - a three-day intensive training course on social entrepreneurship, aimed mainly at young people, which took place for the first time in Bulgaria in the period 6-8 October.
The ceremony was solemnly opened by the Ambassador of France in Bulgaria Joël Meilleur. In her address to young future social entrepreneurs, Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel said: "Excellence and perseverance are always visible. The smallest idea can lead to positive change with a project of great success. I believe the greatest strength of social entrepreneurship is that it provides answers to some of society's most pressing problems. Social entrepreneurs contribute to fairer economies and societies."
The training allowed the participants to get acquainted with more than 40 different social entrepreneurship activities implemented in other countries to solve social, educational or environmental problems that can be quickly replicated at local level in Bulgaria
"It is important that young people develop their potential with skills from businesses creating opportunities locally and nationally. I encourage you to always maintain your passion and motivation to bring positive social change and provide solutions to today's challenges. Be bold, think outside the box and remember that all ideas have the potential to become successful projects", was Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel's message to young people.
