The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the University of National and World Economy signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions. At an official ceremony at the MFA, the document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov and the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov.

With the adoption of the Memorandum, the two institutions focus their efforts on deepening their cooperation in order to develop coordination in the implementation of joint policies and objectives. The partnership allows for a better awareness of the possibility of internships in key directorates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participation in public events and the implementation of joint projects.

"It is a privilege to sign this Memorandum of Cooperation between the MFA and UNWE. The partnership between the two institutions is developing in all areas of mutual interest and has a rich tradition," said Minister Milkov, who is an alumnus of the institution. According to him, the signing of the document marks the beginning of a better perspective and more opportunities for the development of relations between the ministry and the university.

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dimitry Dimitrov highly appreciated the signing of the Memorandum and expressed his satisfaction that many Bulgarian diplomats are also former graduates of UNWE. Emphasis was placed on the opportunity that this document opens for mutual cooperation in organizing events of the two institutions.
