Minister Nickolay Mladenov on working visit to the United States
28 January 2013 Diplomatic CalendarMinister Nickolay Mladenov will arrive in Washington on January 28 2013 on a one-day working visit, during which he will meet Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and Antony Blinken, the Deputy National Security Adviser to the US President.
The visit is to take place on the Foreign Minister’s way back from Chile, where he attended the EU-Latin America summit. Minister Mladenov will discuss with the American partners issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as the situation in the Balkans and in Syria. At the end of February, Bulgaria will host the sixth meeting of the International Working Group on sanctions against Syria.
