The Spanish Government declared a state of emergency in connection with the air-traffic controllers’ strike. The situation at the Spanish airports is gradually normalizing after 109 out of 159 air-traffic controllers returned to work.
The airports in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Palma de Mallorca are slowly beggining to restore their work.
It is expected that the problems with the air transport will continue until Sunday morning.
