Bulgaria Supports the Constructing of Institutions in Kosovo

“The relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo are very intensive, our assistance for the constructing of Kosovo institutions will continue”, declared Nickolay Mladenov after his meeting with the foreign minister of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj. The enhancement of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade is a major priority for Bulgaria’s foreign policy, added the Bulgarian foreign minister. Minister Hoxhaj thanked Bulgaria and its citizens for the strong support towards the young country, and Minister Mladenov, personally, for the valuable advice regarding the accession of Kosovo into the EU. He assessed highly the measures suggested during today’s meeting for the achievement of a road map for the removal of the visa regime for Kosovo citizens.

After the official conversations, the two ministers signed two joint agreements – Protocol for Cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries and a joint intergovernmental Agreement for International Transportation of Passengers and Cargo.
