Minister Vigenin met with the Ambassadors of the EU Member States

On 16 July Minister Kristian Vigenin held a working meeting with the Ambassadors of the EU Member States accredited to Bulgaria. They discussed the main challenges and achievements of Bulgaria in the European policy and the EU’s common foreign policy during the past political season.
Minister Vigenin underlined the active regional cooperation, the strengthening of the European perspective of the Western Balkans and the focus on the Black Sea region and the EU’s eastern neighbors as Bulgaria’s main contribution during the last year. He pointed out the successful deepening of the bilateral dialogue with the EU Member States, as well as the intensification of the economic relations with the countries of Southeast Asia. Among the topics of conversation were also energy security and the European Neighborhood Policy.
Ambassadors of the EU Member States welcomed the open dialogue of the Bulgarian diplomatic service, the solidarity and the community spirit in the relations of Bulgaria within the EU.
