The release of Mr. Gulubin Boevski is a sovereign decision of the Brazilian authorities, which we evaluate on its merits. We see this as an expression of a humane attitude towards the Bulgarian citizens.
MFA obtained information about the development of the case only yesterday. Unfortunately, this raises serious questions about the work of the Bulgarian Embassy in Brazil.
Within the framework of the ongoing investigation, Ambassador Chavdar Nikolov is instructed to return immediately to Bulgaria for further clarification of the case.
