The Deputy Prime Minister Maria Gabriel has taken part in the 16th edition of the international forum in Dubrovnik

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Gabriel has participated in the 16th edition of the international “Dubrovnik Forum“ in Croatia. This year, the topic is called “Navigating The Global Reshuffle“. The conference was declared open by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman. The forum was complemented by the participation of the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union Josep Borrell, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Member States of the European Union, representatives of the OECD and other international institutions.

 

The Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria has made a statement during the discussion “World Order out of Order: How to Stabilise World Politics?“. In front of the participants, Maria Gabriel outlined the need for common actions in times of crises, for promoting the international partnerships and for strategic investments in new technologies and security alliances.

 

„It is important to identify strategic sectors and common interests for strong alliances, based on international rules, moral foundations and values. Every challenge is also a new opportunity to find and implement new decisions. By choosing the international cooperation, we give ourselves a chance to cope with these challenges.“ said the Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel.
