Minister Ivan Kondov participates in Kazanlak in the procession in memory of Botev and the heroes who died for the freedom of Bulgaria and in the opening of the XVIII World Meeting of Bulgarian Media

Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov was today in Kazanlak, where he participated in the opening of the XVIII World Meeting of Bulgarian Media organized by BTA. He delivered a speech at the forum, which you can download here.
Later, the Minister took part in the flag procession in the city under the slogan ‘He who falls in freedom's fight, dies not!’. The procession passed through the streets of Kazanlak as a sign of respect and gratitude to Hristo Botev and the heroes who died for the freedom of Bulgaria. It was also attended by Vice President Iliyana Iotova, Regional Governor Ivan Cholakov, poet and author of the lyrics of the song ‘One Bulgarian Rose’ Nayden Valchev, Director General of the BTA Kiril Valchev, deputy mayors, the chairman of the local Municipal Council Nikolay Zlatanov, representatives of local and central government, directors of cultural institutions and many citizens.
