Joint Communication from the 17th Session of the Joint Multidisciplinary Expert Commission on Historical and Educational Issues between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia

The seventeenth session of the Joint Multidisciplinary Expert Commission on Historical and Educational Issues between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia was held on 24 and 25 February in Sofia.
The meeting took place in a constructive and open atmosphere, which contributed to some progress in the work of the Joint Commission.
In the framework of the joint session between the governments of Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia, held on January 25 this year, the co-chairs of the Commission Prof. Angel Dimitrov and Prof. Dragi Georgiev agreed to organize three sessions by the end of May.
Commissioners reaffirmed their commitment to an active dialogue.
The next meeting of scientists from both countries is scheduled for late March or early April in Skopje.
