Minister Vigenin to participate in Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg

Minister Kristian Vigenin will participate in the regular Foreign Affairs Council meeting, which will be held on 14 April in Luxembourg. The situation in Ukraine will be the main item on the agenda and the foreign ministers will continue the discussion from the informal “Gymnich" meeting, held on 4-5 April.
During the meeting, the participants will also discuss the results of the EU-US Summit and EU-Africa Sumit , as well as the presidential elections in Afghanistan. As a continuation of the February and March talks, a thorough discussion of the EU’s strategic approach to Bosnia and Herzegovina is also included on the agenda.
The Foreign Ministers will exchange views on how to continue the political process in Syria and the convening of the Geneva-3, as well as on the issue of humanitarian access and progress in the destruction of the Syrian chemical weapons.
