Kristian Vigenin to participate in the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs

Minister Kristian Vigenin will participate in the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the NATO member states, which will be held on 1-2 April in Brussels chaired by the NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

During the first day, а meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of Foreign Affairs Ministers will be held, as well asaceremony to mark the anniversary of NATO enlargement in the General Headquarters of the Alliance.

The second day of the forum will continue with a meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission and a meeting of the North Atlantic Council with the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative Countries and with non-NATO ISAF Contributing Nations.

Kristian Vigenin will participate in the EU-Africa Ministerial Meetingon1 April in Brussels. As regards the preparation of the Fourth EU-Africa Summit scheduled for 2-3 April in Brussels,thetop diplomats will discuss the issue of peace and security both in Africa and in Europe, and the opportunities for a more effective crisis prevention.
