Foreign Minister to visit Bucharest and Rousse
22 August 2013 - 23 August 2013 Diplomatic CalendarMinister Kristian Vigenin will pay an official visit to Bucharest on August 22 at the invitation of his Romanian counterpart Titus Corlăţean. They will exchange ideas on opportunities to strengthen bilateral dialogue and relations in the areas of the economy, energy, transport, culture, as well as deepening co-operation between the two countries in the regional and European context. The foreign ministers will discuss the upcoming second joint meeting of the governments of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania, which will be held in the second half of September 2013 in Varna. During the visit Vigenin will meet with Viorel Hrebenciuc, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania.
On August 23, Minister Vigenin will visit Rousse, where he will meet with District Governor Vencislav Kaltchev. After face-to-face talks, they will hold a news conference at 12.15pm at the District Administration. The media are invited to cover the event.
