Minister Mladenov to visit the South Caucasus
12 December 2012 - 14 December 2012 Diplomatic CalendarOn December 12, Nickolay Mladenov, together with Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, will be visiting Azerbaijan. In Baku, the three ministers will hold talks with the country’s President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and representatives of civil society. Ministers Mladenov, Bildt and Sikorski will hold a joint news conference.
On December 12 and 13, the three foreign ministers will have meetings in Georgia. In Tbilisi, they will hold talks with President Mikheil Saakashvili, Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and with the ministers of interior, defence, reintegration, as well as with representatives of civil society. The foreign ministers of Bulgaria, Sweden and Poland will hold a joint news conference.
On December 14, Nickolay Mladenov, Carl Bildt and Radoslaw Sikorski will have meetings in Armenia. In Yerevan, they will hold talks with President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, as well as with representatives of opposition parties. The three foreign ministers will hold a joint news conference.
