Meeting of the Interdepartmental Council on NATO
01 November 2012 Diplomatic CalendarOn November 1 2012, the activities will resume of the Interdepartmental Council on NATO, which for the first time includes among its competencies the Common Security and Defence Policy. Discussions will cover possibilities and ideas to increase co-operation within the framework of NATO, enhancement of co-ordination on priority issues of NATO and the Common Security and Defence Policy, which require interdepartmental co-ordination.
After the meeting, Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov and Defence Minister Anyu Angelov will hold a news conference at 11.30am in the Marble Hall at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
