External meeting of the Council for European Affairs

The Council for European Affairs will meet in Plovdiv on November 1 and 2. The meeting, taking place at the Trimontium Hotel, will discuss Bulgaria’s positions for European Union councils, the implementation of the Communication Strategy of Bulgaria for this year and preparations for the 2013 work programme, as well as a number of topics of an inter-sectoral nature.
A public discussion on “Opportunities and Challenges for Bulgaria in the context of the Multiannual Financial Framework and the EU Cohesion Policy for 2014 – 2020” will be held on November 2 from 11am to 12.30pm. Those taking part will include Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov, the Minister for the management of EU funds, Tomislav Donchev, and Deputy Finance Minister Boryana Pencheva.
