The 18th Annual Session of the Meeting of the States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court takes place in The Hague from 2-7 December 2019, with the participation of numerous ministers, secretaries of state, high magistrates and ambassadors from 123 countries.

On November 13, 2019 in the city of Leiden, The Kingdom of the Netherlands, was held the annual edition of the so-called Japanese Table Events, organized by the Dutch United Nations Student Association and the University of Leiden. For second year in a row the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria took part in the initiative, which was conducted at Leiden City Hall under the patronage of Mr. Paul Dirkse, Deputy Mayor of Leiden for knowledge, education, sport and finance.

The Hague hosted the first Career forum in the Netherlands for Bulgarian students and young professionals, wishing to pursue their professional realization in Bulgaria

Ambassador Rumen Alexandrov officially opened the exhibition "Change -Form & Nature" at the Kv2 gallery in the center of The Hague, representing the creativity of Bulgarian artists on September 12, 2019. Works from the following artists can be seen: the late Mihail Petkov, Snezhina Bisserova, Alexandra Dimitrova, Dimo Kolibarov, Vasil Kolev, Valentin Lekov and Kantcho Kanev who show how Bulgarian artists have made and still make works in a changing world. A special room is reserved for three works from the series In Sacris from Mihail Petkov, based on the story of the icons of the Kremikovtsi Monastery.

For the third consecutive year Bulgaria has participated in the annual Embassy Festival held in The Hague on September 7, 2019. The event this year presented more than 70 countries from around the world and attracted more than 60,000 visitors.
