Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in The Hague, the Kingdom of the Netherlands!

Established in 1909, the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of the Netherlands are based on friendship, mutual trust and joint efforts to further develop our bilateral, political, economic and cultural partnership. Our two countries work together on various topics of mutual interest - on a bilateral basis, as members of the European Union and as NATO allies. We share common goals, namely to enhance our trade ties and economic relations, to improve people-to-people contacts and the development of tourism, to promote shared values ​​such as democratic governance, rule of law, media freedom and human rights protection, to enable partnerships in the field of education, science and culture. We also strive to protect in the best possible way the interests of all Bulgarian citizens residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
