Ambassador Mr. Kalin Anastasov signed four Agreements for the provision of grant-in-aid

Bulgaria was named the host of the 68th session of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (WTO) for 2023. Our country received the prestigious recognition during the session of the European Section of the WTO, which is being held in Yerevan, June 2 and 3. 2022. The Bulgarian household will be an excellent opportunity to present the advantages of our country as a year-round tourist destination. At the event in Yerevan, Bulgaria was represented by Prof. Mariela Modeva, Deputy Minister of Tourism. Within the framework of the program she had the opportunity to hold meetings with Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of the WTO,  Ms. Sisyan Poghosyan, Chairman of the Tourism Commission of Armenia, Mr. Mehak Apresyan, Chairman of the Tourism Federation of Armenia, Mr. Sofia Zaharaki, Deputy Minister of Tourism of Greece.

On June 1, 2022, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Yerevan organized a garden holiday on the Children's Day and the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and Slavic literature. For more than 3 hours, 120 children, teachers and Bulgarian citizens living in Armenia in a relaxed atmosphere had fun with quizzes, games, songs and dances. The main guests of the celebration were the students from the 131st Peyo Yavorov Primary School in Yerevan, who performed Armenian and Bulgarian songs and folk dances. An exhibition of paintings by 131st school students was presented. 

On March 3, 2022, the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia, together with Primary School N131 after Peyo Yavorov in Yerevan, celebrated the National Holiday of Bulgaria and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Armenia.

On February 22, at the initiative of the Bulgarian side, a working meeting was held in the Office of the Ombudsman, where Ambassador Anastasov and Mr. Tatoyan exchanged views on the role and functions of the institution and reviewed the joint cooperation.

On February 17, 2022, at the initiative of the Bulgarian side, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia Kalin Vassilev Anastasov met with the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturian.

Yambol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bulgaria, in partnership with the Enterprise Armenia implements the project "WINEBIZZ - promotion of trade relations and cooperation in the wine sector between Bulgarian and Armenian companies and business support organizations", with the support of EU4Business funded by the EU.

On January 25, 2022 in inaugural meeting of the project "Raising Awareness of Labor Migration in Bulgaria" was held, implemented by the offices of the International Organization for Migration in Bulgaria, Armenia, Georgia and Moldova.

On January 21, 2022 at the initiative of Ambassador Kalin Anastasov, the National Assembly of Armenia hosted a meeting with the Chairperson of the Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ms. Anush Begloyan.
