On March 31, 2026, a courtesy meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia between the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, Nikola Nikolov, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan.

On March 31, 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria hosted a recital of Bulgarian poetry, performed in French by students of the French Lycée “Anatole France.” The event took place as part of the initiatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Yerevan within the framework of Francophonie Days in Armenia. Poems by prominent Bulgarian poets such as Peyo Yavorov, Nikola Vaptsarov, Teodor Trayanov, Dora Gabe, Dimcho Debelyanov, and others were presented.

Ambassador Nikola Nikolov encouraged the participants to remain as determined and driven as ever toward success and high achievements. He thanked the director of French Lyceum for the excellent partnership, the commitment and enthusiasm shown by both the school administration and the students and friends of French language and culture in Yerevan. The event not only promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle but also helps build and maintain friendships outside the school and work environments. Nikola Nikolov noted that the goal is to have other future joint initiatives with the French Lyceum that will help students freely demonstrate their skills and give them the opportunity to develop and gain confidence in their knowledge and abilities.

The Ambassador of Bulgaria to Armenia, Nikola Nikolov, held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia, Martin Sargsyan. The discussion focused on opportunities to enhance bilateral economic cooperation, including renewing the Memorandum of Understanding and organizing a joint business forum.

On 16 March 2026, a protocol meeting took place at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Armenia between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Armenia, Mr. Nikola Nikolov, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Nikol Pashinyan.

On 16 March 2026, a protocol meeting was held at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Nikola Nikolov, and the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Mr. David Khudatyan.

On March 3, 2026, the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia organized an official reception on the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria – March 3.

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturian, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Armenia, Nikola Nikolov.

On 2 March 2026, at the initiative of Ambassador Nikola Nikolov, a cultural event celebrating Baba Marta was held at the 131 Peyo Yavorov School. The event was also attended by the Romanian Ambassador, H.E. Cornel Ionescu, and the Serbian Ambassador, H.E. Tatiana Panayotovich-Cvetkovich.

Today, February 24, 2026, Ambassador Nikola Nikolov participated in an event organized by the EU Delegation to Armenia on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In this regard, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Vasilis Maragos, told the ambassadors of the member states and the acting head of Ukraine in Armenia, Valery Lobach, that the EU stands in solidarity with and supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. A ceremony was also held to raise the Ukrainian flag, attended by all EU ambassadors accredited in Yerevan.
