The President of the Republic of Armenia received the Bulgarian ambassador on the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturian, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Armenia, Nikola Nikolov.
President Khachaturian congratulated the friendly people of Bulgaria, the country's leadership, and the ambassador, wishing them prosperity and success. In response, Ambassador Nikolov expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome.
"Armenia and Bulgaria have centuries-old strong historical, cultural, and spiritual ties," the ambassador noted, adding that he is making every effort to expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, they talked about ways to deepen relations between the two countries, effective cooperation in a bilateral format and within the European Union, as well as regional realities and future prospects. The parties also exchanged views on the TRIPP project, highlighting its contribution to regional cooperation.
The importance of building and strengthening democratic institutions and values as a basis for sustainable development and mutual trust was also emphasized.
