Bulgaria's Liberation from the Ottoman Empire was celebrated in the ceremonial hall of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia

On March 4, 2024, Bulgaria's Liberation from the Ottoman Empire was celebrated in the ceremonial hall of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. More than 200 representatives from the government, the academic leadership of the university, diplomats accredited in Armenia, civil servants, politicians, public figures, the Bulgarian community and the media were present to express their honor and respect to the Bulgarian people on the occasion of the holiday. In his speech, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia, Kalin Anastasov, noted that on March 3, 146 years ago, with the signing of the San Stefano Peace Treaty, Bulgaria rose again and the dream of our revivalists began to come true, that all Bulgarians would live in a free and independent country. Ambassador Anastasov emphasized that the established Third Bulgarian State during these years has experienced both glorious moments and national tragedies, but despite this, the Bulgarian people have not forgotten the most important thing -their freedom and independence.
