Ambassador of Bulgaria to Armenia Nikola Nikolov meets with Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan

On 16 March 2026, a protocol meeting was held at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Nikola Nikolov, and the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Mr. David Khudatyan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and Armenia in the fields of transport, energy and regional connectivity, as well as cooperation within the frameworks of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and the Eastern Partnership.
Special attention was given to the possibility of restoring the direct air connection between Yerevan and Sofia, which would contribute to the development of tourism and economic relations between the two countries.
The meeting also addressed prospects for cooperation in renewable energy and the development of partnerships between Bulgarian and Armenian municipalities. Both sides expressed readiness to further deepen bilateral relations and to implement initiatives of mutual interest.
