On 7 November 2024, an evening dedicated to Ivan Stancioff was held at the Embassy, during which the book “I am a Bulgarian and I walk together with my people” was presented. The book is compiled by Mrs Snejina Metcheva with the assistance of the Bulgarian School “Ivan Stanchov” at the Embassy and the support of the Ministry of Education and Science Programme “The Untold Stories of the Bulgarians”.

Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev met with the Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Westminster Robert Rigby at the Westminster City Hall
Both sides noted the fruitful relations between Bulgaria and the United Kingdom. Ambassador Stoytchev emphasized the excellent cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the City of Westminster and expressed his gratitude for the permission granted by Westminster to construct the Bulgarian orthodox church and to open polling stations and the provided support for the different elections.

A celebration of the Bulgarian Community in the London Borough of Bromley
The Bulgarians in the London Borough of Bromley marked the first anniversary of the planting of Bulgarian roses in Queen’s Gardens, which has been organised by Mr Boyko Boev. The roses are a gift to the Borough of Bromley from the Bulgarians in London.

Celebrating the Day of Bulgarian Independence at the National Liberal Club in London
The Bulgarian Embassy and the National Liberal Club in London held an event on the occasion of 22 September, the Day of the Independence of Bulgaria. The members of this prestigious London Club were informed of the role of the prominent British politician and four-time Prime Minister William Gladstone, who raised his voice in defence of the Bulgarian cause after the April Uprising of 1876 and the right of the Bulgarian People for freedmen and independence.
