On November 14, 2024, the Bulgarian Embassy hosted a charity Gala Evening, organised by the London Rotary Club and the British Bulgarian Business Association in support of the Bulgarian Association for Stroke and Aphasia. Businessmen, financiers and medical and healthcare professionals were among those who attended.

Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev addressed the participants and accepted from the Rotary Club a Certificate of Appreciation for the Embassy’s support. The President of the Bulgarian Association for Stroke and Aphasia, Mrs Dorina Dobreva, presented the organisation’s goals and its work with families affected by stroke.

The performances by the London Bulgarian Choir, by Ala Sirenko – an internationally recognised composer and pianist, as well as by the violist Sirma Saramova were warmly applauded.
