The Embassy and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, with the assistance of Bulgarian National Television (BNT), organised an evening dedicated to one of the prominent Bulgarian intellectuals and political émigrés in the United Kingdom in the second half of the twentieth century, Petar Ouvaliev.

Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev opened the event. The Director General of the BNT, Mr Emil Koshlukov, shared some memories of his encounters with Petar Ouvaliev. The documentary The Bulgaroman and The Muses by director Dimitar Sharkov was also screened.
