Main information — satellite-based tolling system in Bulgaria
As from 1 March 2020, road vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes circulating on paid road sections in Bulgaria will have to pay for their use distance-based road charges – toll. The toll replaces the electronic vignette for heavy vehicles and buses.

The 8th Session of the Bulgarian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation
On 12-13th of March the 8th session of the Bulgarian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on economic, scientific and technical cooperation took place in Yerevan. The session which was co-chaired by the Minister of transport, information technology and communications of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rossen Jeliazkov, and by the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan, on the Armenian side.

Meeting of Ambassador Pavlova with Tigran Khachatryan, Minister of Economic Development and Investments the Republic of Armenia
On February 20, Ambassador Maria Pavlova had a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development and Investments the Republic of Armenia Mr. Tigran Khachatryan. During the meeting were discussed issues related to the enhancing of the bilateral trade and economic relations and the upcoming 8th session of the Bulgarian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation. The two interlocutors also discussed organizational issues of the business forum which will be held during the mentioned session.

Meeting of Ambassador Pavlova with Hakob Arshakyan, Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia
On February 18, Ambassador Maria Pavlova had a meeting with the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Hakob Arshakyan. The two interlocutors assessed positively the cooperation between Armenia and Bulgaria in the fields of transport, communications and high technologies which is considered to be fruitful and successful. During the meeting was highlighted that the upcoming 8th session of the Bulgarian-Armenian Commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation, which will be co-chaired by the Ministers of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of two countries, will provide new opportunities for expanding and deepening business relations and implementing of joint transport and communication programs.
