The resumption of the direct Sofia–Yerevan–Sofia air route is an important step towards strengthening ties between our nations, developing year-round tourist exchanges, facilitating business and trade-economic relations, and fostering cultural ties, whilst also injecting new momentum into relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Nikola Nikolov, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, and representatives of Armenian state institutions will welcome passengers on the first flight from Sofia at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.
