The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mr. Rumen Alexandrov presented his Letters of Credence to the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander at an official ceremony which took place on the 25th of January 2017 at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague.

 

Within the official ceremony a meeting was held between Ambassador Alexandrov and King Willem-Alexander, during which an excellent evaluation was given in regards to the bilateral relations and the cooperation between Bulgaria and the Netherlands within the framework of the European Union and NATO. Both of the sides shared opinions in connection to the challenges that the EU is facing, such as the future negotiations between the United Kingdom and the EU, the migrant crisis and the trade relations of the Union with key trade partners. His Excellency Mr. Rumen Alexandrov also introduced His Majesty King Willem-Alexander to the preparations of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
