Bulgarian National Day was celebrated with a reception at the emblematic building of the Belén Convention in Old Havana, a symbol of solidarity and care for the elderly and children.

At the suggestion of the Historian’s Office of the of Havana and with the support of the Embassy, ​​within the framework of the celebrations on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria – 3 March, held an official ceremony to unveil a commemorative plaque in honor of the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Bulgarian National Union of Labor and Production Cooperatives, mounted on the wall of the emblematic building of the Belen Monastery in Old Havana.

About 300 Cuban children had the exciting opportunity to watch the film "The Tesla Case" in three consecutive special screenings at the Casa de Afrika Museum, Vitrins of Valonia and the multifunctional hall of the Belen Monastery Social Center in Old Havana, organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Cuba.

On 9 October 2024, the team of the Bulgarian Embassy in Cuba met with representatives of the Cuban national wrestling team. Among the guests welcomed at the Bulgarian residence were Mijain Lopez, winner of five Olympic titles from five consecutive Olympics, his coach Raul Trujillo and his personal doctor Vladimir Perez Gainza.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in the process of implementing a large-scale project, coordinated in advance with all responsible institutions in Bulgaria and the EU, including the implementation and launch of a new version of the National Visa Information System (NVIS).

Bulgarian director of children's films Andrey Hadjivasilev took part with his film "The Tesla Case" in the Fourth Edition of MICE International Educational Film Festival aimed at children and youth, held between 6 and 12 May 2024.

On 6 May 2024, a concert "Bulgaria and Cuba: Music for the Soul" took place in the packed hall of the "Palacio del Marqués de Arcos" in Havana with the special participation of maestro Victoria Lazarova, maestro Ivette Betancourt and maestro Ubail Zamora (Ubail Zamora) and their graduates, all accompanied by the Cuban virtuoso pianist Ana Paula Gil (Ana Paula Gil).

On 25 May 2024, in the historic part of Old Havana, between the building symbol of EU-Cuba cooperation, Palacio del Segundo Cabo and Palacio de Capitanes, held an outdoor concert of the New York-based Bulgarian dance ensemble Gorana Dance and Choir "Yasna Voices" and the Cuban National School of Art (ENA).

On 4th May 2024 was held the second Bulgaria-Cuba Friendship Golf Tournament, organized by the Embassy and the Havana Golf Club within the framework of the ongoing Month of Europe. Twenty-seven players attended the tournament - Cuban citizens, diplomats, directors of  international companies and schools, friends of Bulgaria and Cuba.

On 26 April, the Embassy held cultural events in the city of Santiago de Cuba, which closed the extremely successful first Bulgarian Culture Week held outside Havana, realized within the framework of the second edition of the Month of Europe in the country.
