Day of Europe 2025 in Havana

The Day of Europe was solemnly celebrated on 8 May at the EU Residence in Havana. The EU Ambassador intervened accompanied on the podium by the ambassadors of the seventeen Member States with a diplomatic presence in Cuba.
The event brought together over 400 guests – Cuban ministers and deputy ministers, senior civil servants and diplomats, local entrepreneurs, the business community and friends of the EU.
The embassies of the Member States participated with their national pavilions, where they presented traditional culinary specialties. The Embassy of Bulgaria offered to the guests 14 Banitsa with cheese, pumpkin and apple and fresh Ayran.
