Third " Bulgarian Cooking Workshop" in Havana

On 16 April 2025, the third "Bulgarian Cooking Workshop" held at Restaurant Bulgaria in Old Havana, an initiative of the Embassy within the framework of the third Month of Europe in Cuba.
More than 25 students from various Cuban schools learned to cook traditional Bulgarian dishes: tarator, lozovi sarmi and mekitsi. Their teacher was Chef Iliyan Marinov, owner of Restaurant Bulgaria.
At the end of the event, each child received a Diploma for "Little Master Chef of Bulgarian Cuisine".
The Bulgarian Ambassador's assistants were Cuban students Amelia, Sofia and Mauro, who are participating in another initiative of the Embassy "Diplomat for a Month".
