It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you on the official webpage of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Kingdom of Denmark.

The purpose of the page is to inform about the history, the present and the future of the bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Denmark, which mark an upward development. The two countries share common values ​​– democracy, rule of law and protection of human rights – the basis on which we build active and fruitful cooperation.

The Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Denmark work bilaterally, as well as with their EU partners and NATO allies, to preserve peace, stability, tolerance and prosperity of our common European home.

The interaction between the two countries will continue to develop based on active political and expert dialogue at all levels, with the strengthening of business contacts, cooperation in security and resilience, economy, energy, renewable sources, innovation, education and culture remaining key areas. In 2026, we are about to mark 95 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, which is an excellent opportunity to set achievable but ambitious goals in the context of marking 1 century of diplomatic relations in 2031.

The doors of the Embassy are open to all Bulgarian and Danish citizens, including through the upcoming launch of the "Meet the Ambassador" initiative.
