The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria participated actively in the annual charity bazaar "Great Love Without Borders" at the initiative of Ms. Qian Wei, wife of the Chinese State Counselor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi.

The ice configuration of sculptures "Sea of Roses" represented Bulgaria to the Chinese audience at the "Ice Festival" in Harbin, as well as online, thanks to a video about the configuration, prepared by the Foreign Affairs Office of Harbin Municipality. As this year's edition of the traditional festival is on the topic "Countries of Central and Eastern Europe", Bulgaria is given special attention.

On March 3, 2021, the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Beijing, together with the Bulgarian community in China, celebrated the occasion of the National Day.

Due to the recently found new strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus around the globe and in line with the recommendations of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control as well as with the continuous efforts of the Bulgarian government to curb the spread of the virus in the country, the minister of health of the Republic of Bulgaria has issued a new order defining the entry regime and the categories of citizens allowed to travel to and to enter Bulgaria.
