On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, on March 3rd 2022 at the Monument of the fallen Finnish warriors from the Finnish Battalion was held a solemn ceremony with the participation of the Commandant of Helsinki, military and members of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.

On 16th of November 2021 at Eurooppasali in the European Commission Representation in Finland was presented the Bulgarian movie “Letters from Antarctica”.

In Helsinki a cermony marking the anniversary of the battle of Gorni Dabnik was held.

On October 9, 2021, a concert of the “Cuckoo” Choir took place in Villa Hakasalmi in Helsinki, marking the tenth anniversary of its establishment. Folk songs from various  folklore regions of Bulgaria were performed. The concert was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Finland Nina Simova and representatives of the Embassy. Congratulations were extended  to the choristers on the occasion of the 10-th anniversary, flowers were presented to them.

On September 30, 2021, in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Helsinki was held a meeting of Mrs. Nina Simova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Finland, with the Board of Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society. The meeting was also attended by the staff of the Bulgarian Embassy.

On May 25, 2021 in the Bulgarian Embassy in Helsinki was held a ceremony of awarding the Order of the Madara Horseman to Päivi Blinnikka

On March 3rd 2021 in front of the Monument of the Battalion of the guards of Finland in the Guard Cemetery in Helsinki, a solemn ceremony was held on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, with the participation of the Commandant of Helsinki, military and members of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.

On September 28, 2020, at the Finnish Club in Helsinki, the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Аssociation presented a collection of Bulgarian poems titled "Phoenix Birds and Their Messages", translated into Finnish language by the Finnish poet, reviewer and translator Tarmo Manelius.

On September 15, 2020, the Bulgarian Embassy in Helsinki hosted another series of Historical Seminars dedicated to Finland's past. The seminar is held on the initiative of Ambassador Martin Ivanov.
