On January 14^th 2023, Ambassador Nina Simova and the diplomatic staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Finland took part in the annual meeting of the local branch of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society in Turku. It was founded in 1957 in the city of Turku as a local branch of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society in the Republic of Finland to support friendly relations and the development of economic and cultural cooperation between Finland and Bulgaria.

On the occasion of the annual event of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society in Turku, speeches were delivered by Mrs Nina Simova, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Finland and the Chairman of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society branch in Turku Mr Daniel Valtakari.
