Main information — satellite-based tolling system in Bulgaria
As from 1 March 2020, road vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes circulating on paid road sections in Bulgaria will have to pay for their use distance-based road charges – toll. The toll replaces the electronic vignette for heavy vehicles and buses.

The governor of Sofia District Ilian Todorov visited Liege
On 17th December the governor of Sofia District Ilian Todorov visited Liege and met with the acting governor of the Province of Liege Mrs Catherine Delcourt. He was accompanied by Her Excellency Ambassador Maya Dobreva and the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria for the Walloon Region Luc Sougné. The meeting took place in the Provincial Palace where Mr Todorov and Mrs Delcourt discussed the possibilities for cooperation in different spheres of mutual interest. A memorandum for cooperation in the field of public security and civil protection was signed.
