New York Sunday School Celebrations for the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays

On December 17, 2023, the Bulgarian Sunday schools in New York - "Gergana" and "Hristo Botev" celebrated the coming Christmas and New Year holidays with big festivities and concerts, with the participation of their graduates and parents.
The public enjoyed performances by school choirs, folk dances, gymnastics, musical theaters and theatres with the participation of parents.
All the kids received gifts from Santa Claus. Students performed poems and dances. During the celebration, carolers were also performed. During the celebration of "Gergana" school many parents took the stage as members of the choir and the theatrical group.
The young mathematicians, in four age groups, from "Hristo Botev" School in New York were presented with certificates and medals - gold, silver and bronze for their performance in the "Mathematical Kangaroo" competition.
The children, parents, guests and teachers of the two Sunday schools in new York were welcomed for the holiday by Angel Angelov, Consul General and Daniela Sirakova, Consul at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York.
